On Thursday, January 19th Speaker Renner and Chair Tuck announced the filing of landmark legislation ( HB 1) that would create a universal Education Savings Account. Senate President Passidomo also voiced her support on Twitter. The Florida Citizens Alliance has been advocating for years for a universal Education Savings Account where the money follows the student.
